Lewis Walker signs for Woking

Lewis Walker joins National League side.

Lewis Walker has signed for Woking on a permanent transfer.

The 24-year-old agreed a two-year deal at Priestfield in the summer of 2022 and scored four times in 29 appearances in all competitions for the Gills.

The former QPR front man, who has also played for Aldershot and Como, enjoyed a loan spell with the Cards earlier in the season, scoring on his debut at AFC Fylde before featuring for Gills against Hereford in the FA Cup and Fulham U21's in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.

Walker could make his second debut for Woking, who play in the Vanarama National League, this Saturday at home against Oxford City.

Head Coach Stephen Clemence said: “In my time at the Football Club Lewis has always conducted himself in a very professional manner. He is a person that we think very highly of, I have very much enjoyed working with him and wish him all the best in his future career.”

Gillingham FC would like to thank Lewis for his services while at Priestfield and we wish him well for the future.
