Gills stopper previews the visit of Forest Green Rovers in Sky Bet League 2.
Goalkeeper Jake Turner, who boasts one of the best clean sheet record in Sky Bet League Two, is full of praise for his teammates and says the defensive achievement is the product of a real collective effort.
The Gills will be eyeing a remarkable four straight league wins on the spin when they face Forest Green on Saturday and Turner is calling on another big performance to keep on the hunt for a top seven place.
"It's three on the bounce at the moment, so hopefully we will make it four," said Gills' last line of defense. "We will just keep taking it one game at a time.
"Keeping clean sheets is something we practice as a whole team and in the last few games I have hardly made any saves. The defence has been excellent, from the attackers all the way back. When I get called upon, hopefully I can help the team out.
"Clean sheets are a collective effort, from the strikers, midfielders, defenders and myself. We all dig in to keep clean sheets and then try and score and get that win.
"We are one place off the play-offs at the moment and we are doing well. That is the goal, to try and be in and around the play-offs, if not the top three.
"We need to just keep working hard, take each game as it comes and see where it takes us."
