Trio sign first professional contracts

Three players sign their first pro deals at Priestfield.

The Football Club is delighted to announce that three players have signed their first professional contracts at Priestfield.

Joshua Bayliss, Taite Holtam and Stanley Skipper have all agreed deals following their two-year apprenticeship program.

Holtam plays in goal while Skipper, who made his first-team debut at Portsmouth in a Bristol Street Motors Tie last October, plays in a central midfield role.

Bayliss plays in a move advanced forward position and scored in the opening minutes of the first round FA Youth Cup tie against Ware last November.

On signing their deals, Director of Football Kenny Jackett said: "I am really pleased that Taite, Joshua and Stanley have committed to signing professional terms with us.

“Over the last two years they have been consistent performers in the youth team and we will be working hard with them over the next 12 months to enable them to be considered for first-team consideration.”

We can confirm that, following their respective apprenticeship deals finishing, the following players will soon be leaving the club:

KAI GARRETT

LEIGHTON MURRAY

TOBEY SMITH

DAMI TAIWO-PRATT

JOSH WOODLIFFE

The following players have had their apprenticeship programs extended:

HARRY BRIDLE

WILL DE WILDE

For those leaving the club, we thank them for their excellent service and wish you all the best for the future.
