Championship club to visit Priestfield for pre-season fixture.
Gillingham will play Watford in a pre-season friendly at Priestfield Stadium on Saturday July 20 (3pm).
The Hornets have visited Priestfield in the past for similar games but the last time the two clubs met competitively was in August 2016 at Vicarage Road in the EFL Cup.
Gills, then under the management of Justin Edinburgh, caused an upset by winning the game 2-1 thanks to goals from Mark Byrne and Bradley Dack.
Watford finished 15th in the Championship last season and will visit Kent under the guidance of Tom Cleverley, who took over as Head Coach last month.
Ticket information for the fixture will follow.
