Striker Harry Bridle has signed for Herne Bay on a work experience loan basis.
Bridle, who extended his stay with the Gills over the summer, made his debut for Bay on Tuesday evening against Ramsgate.
The forward featured for the first-team in pre-season and found the net twice against Dartford.
Steve Lovell is the current manager at Winch's Field and his side compete in the Isthmian South East division.
The initial deal lasts for a period of 28 days.
