Dominic Jefferies has signed for League 1 Lincoln City for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old midfielder was offered a new contract by the Gills at the end of last season but has decided to join the Imps who finished 7th in League 1 last term, just two points shy of the play-off places.
A fee for the player has been agreed due to Dom being under the age of 24.
Jefferies signed for the Gills in the summer of 2022 from Brentford's B team, having just won their "Player of the Year" award.
He made 71 appearances in all competitions across two seasons at Priestfield, scoring two goals in the process.
