Gills return for pre-season testing

The club's first-team squad reported for pre-season testing on Monday morning, with day one of the schedule spent inside the gym and medical rooms at Priestfield Stadium.

Manager Mark Bonner, Assistant Anthony Hayes and First-Team Coach Pete Gill met all players for the first time in person, with James Russell and the Sports Science staff collecting data from a range of different tests.

The entire squad will be on the grass at Beechings Cross for the first time on Tuesday. 

The club's first pre-season fixture involving the first-team will be against Millwall at Priestfield on July 13 (1pm). EFL fixtures ahead of the new campaign were released last week, and it will be Carlisle visiting ME7 on the opening day.
