Gillingham have signed former Charlton midfielder Euan Williams.
Euan has been training with the club over the last few weeks, and terms have now been agreed on a permanent contract ahead of Saturday's game at home to Carlisle United in Sky Bet League 2.
Williams, 21, comes from Bexley and came through the youth ranks at The Valley, making his debut against the Gills in an EFL Trophy tie in August 2022.
He has represented Northern Ireland at both U19 and U21 level.
He is eligible for selection this weekend at MEMS Priestfield Stadium. He can play in midfield as well as a more advanced forward role. He scored in Gills pre-season friendly against Watford last month.
On signing his deal, Euan said: "I have enjoyed settling in with the lads, we have had quite a few games over the past few weeks which has been really good.
"I am very high energy, I like to play forward and run forward, I make runs in behind. I am nice, neat and tidy on the ball and I create chances. Hopefully I can pop up with a few goals aswell."
We officially welcome Euan to the club.
