With October now having come to an end we now ask the Gills faithful to select their “Goal of the Month,” sponsored by Ability Plus.
Three goals are up for the award, they are as follows:
ARMANI LITTLE v Accrington Stanley
The club’s vice-captain produced a stunning left footed strike to find the back of the net at ME7 against Accrington on October 12.
Remeao Hutton’s cross wasn’t gathered by the goalkeeper and Little was unmarked at the back post and found the top corner with an excellent effort.
JAYDEN CLARKE v Bradford City
The winger was in the right place at the right time to finish in off the post, but only following some excellent build up play involving George Lapslie who found Tim Dieng making a strong run on the right wing, he worked his way into the box and spotted the run inside him, and the former City player spotted Clarke whose effort was well placed inside the near post.
TIM DIENG v Swindon Town
The former Oldham man found the back of the net against Swindon, reacting quickly when Jacob Wakeling chased down a long ball and won possession in a strong area. The striker spotted Dieng and the midfielder simply had to keep his composure to find the back of the net from close range
