Gillingham boss Mark Bonner has been named the Sky Bet League 2 Manager of the Month for August.
Bonner help guide the team to achieve 10 points from a possible 12 in the club's opening four league fixtures, sitting top of the league before last weekend's game at Doncaster.
The Gills had beaten Carlisle, Morecambe and Chesterfield along the way with a 0-0 draw being played out against Fleetwood at Highbury.
On receiving his award, Mark said: "I am proud to receive the ‘Manager of the Month’ award for August on behalf of the team having accumulated ten points from our first four games.
"As a new team, early in our development together, it is testament to the work of everyone in and around the team and should serve as real encouragement to continue building on the path we have started, gain confidence from the results, be motivated by what is possible, and remain focussed on what is required."
