Gills boss Mark Bonner has been nominated for the Sky Bet League 2 Manager of the Month award for September.
During the month Gills registered three straight league wins, two of those against Notts County and Barrow who were top of the pile before the respected kick-offs.
A double from Jayden Clarke had earlier given Gills a 3-0 win over Tranmere at ME7.
Mark won the August award following an excellent opening month to the campaign. On this occasion he is up against Charlie Adam (Fleetwood), Darren Moore (Port Vale) and Mat Sadler (Walsall).
The winner will be announced this coming Friday.
The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
