The Gills clinched two crucial victories during the month, defeating both Salford City and Milton Keynes Dons, but who gets your vote for the stand out player?
There are a few options to choose from, please cast your vote using the link at the bottom of the page.
A / Robbie McKenzie
The midfielder scored twice during the month, once away to Bromley and once away to MK Dons, the latter proving to be the match winner on the day.
The 25-year-old returned to the team following injury and he picked up where he left off, nearly finding the net against Colchester too on Boxing Day too.
B / Jayden Clarke
Jayden also scored twice during the course of the month, once against Salford and then again at home to Cheltenham on December 20. His drilled right footed effort took a deflection before finding the back of the net against Salford, and a couple of weeks later was the first to react when Elliott Nevitt's low drive was only palmed into space, and Jayden slotted home from a few yards out.
C / Glenn Morris
The veteran goalkeeper kept two clean sheets during December, making important stops along the way against Salford and MK Dons respectively.
At Stadium MK he made a match winning save in the dying seconds, making himself big to block a shot which otherwise may have found the back of the net.
