Manager Comments:
Mark Bonner – “We've really nailed down some good physical work which has been good as well, not only for the team off the back of the first ten games last week, but certainly a number of individuals that maybe have been lighter on game time or have missed periods early on.
“It’s been physically good for everybody.
“Ultimately, the proof of how beneficial it's been for us will be seen in Saturday's game, but we know it will serve us well over the coming weeks. Having a full week to train this week and next is really helpful.”
John Doolan - "It will be tough. Gillingham are a good side, they play a certain way, they have good players, and big players, and we know what they are about. We have come up with a plan to try and get at them."
Previous Meetings:
The clubs have met on 20 previous occasions with Gills winning 11 of those games. Accrington have won just five. The last game took place earlier this year at the Wham Stadium which the visitors won 2-1 thanks to goals from Conor Masterson and Macauley Bonne.
