As for Crewe, Jamie Knight-Lebel is suspended following his sending off during the week. Mickey Demetriou, Omar Bogle, Chris Long, Kane Hemmings, Conor Thomas, James Connolly, Jack Lankester, Charlie Fonney and Nathan Robinson could all be missing having not featured midweek.

However, one or two may be in the frame for a squad place dependent on progress.

Manager Comments:

John Coleman – "I think the fans who were at Walsall, a lot of them were the same that went to Barrow, ask them how they felt after both games? I think that’s how you can tell if we got a response or not."

Ryan Dicker [Crewe Assistant] - “There are players back out on the grass and there's one, maybe two, that are 50/50 for this weekend. That will all depend on how they get through the training sessions.”

Previous Meetings:

The clubs last met in the reverse fixture earlier this season when a double from Shilow Tracey was enough to give Crewe all three points at the Mornflake Stadium in October.

Last season’s game at Priestfield ended in a 0-0 draw with Crewe again winning 2-0 at Gresty Road.

The teams have met on 58 occasions in all competitions, Crewe winning 25 of those with Gills two behind on 23.

Odds:

Gills win – 7/5

Draw – 15/8

Crewe win – 19/10

Special Bet: Elliott Nevitt to score first in a 2-1 win = 45/1.
