Gillingham v Fleetwood Town

MEMS Priestfield Stadium

Sky Bet League Two

Tuesday February 25, 2025

Kick-Off, 7:45pm

Team News:

Conor Masterson (hamstring) is back in contention, however Tuesday's game might come too soon for him. Euan Williams and Jonny Williams have both had knocks but could return to the squad.

Ethan Coleman (calf) will definitely miss out, as will Josh Andrews and Marcus Wyllie.

As for Fleetwood, top scorer Ryan Coughlan is missing through injury.

However, Ryan Graydon has been in strong goalscoring form this season, finding the back of the net on eight occasions, and will more than likely take a place in the starting XI.

Pete Wild could name an unchanged side to the team that lost 2-1 to Grimsby on Saturday.

Manager Comments:

John Coleman - "The fans have been brilliant, and I hope that the fans get behind us again like they did last Saturday. More than anything for them, I want to deliver that win. I want the players to deliver the win."

Pete Wild [speaking earlier this month] - “Why would you not try and get to the top seven? Do I think it is realistic? It is achievable.

“We would need to win a lot of games. But we have two and a half months left of the season, why wouldn’t you have a go?”

Previous Meetings:

The clubs have only met on 18 previous occasions and it's Fleetwood who hold the advantage when it comes to the head-to-head statistics, winning eight games to Gills four.

Gills haven't defeated the Cod Army home or away since November 2018. On that occasion we sealed a 3-0 win at ME7 thanks to a brace from Tom Eaves and a solitary goal from Brandon Hanlan.

The reverse fixture earlier this season at Highbury resulted in a 0-0 draw.

Odds:

Gills win - 17/10

Draw - 21/10

Fleetwood win - 6/4

Special Bet: Armani Little to score first in a 2-1 win = 70/1.
