Team News:

Mark Bonner could welcome several players back to the club this weekend with Robbie McKenzie, Elliott Nevitt and George Lapslie having all trained in lead up to the fixture. Bradley Dack however will miss out.

Josh Andrews could get more minutes following his outing against Stevenage. Aaron Rowe and Armani Little continue to be assessed.

As for Harrogate, they should have the same squad available that defeated Chesterfield last weekend. James Daly and Dean Cornelius have both been on the scoresheet recently and are likely to start.

Manager Comments:

Mark Bonner: “We want to come out as the winning team because it’s really important for us to stack - wins, ideally - but, certainly, an unbeaten run together over the next period. We’re a third of the season in.

“From this game on, I think we play five in 28 days and five in 17 days so it gets really crazy. In this next period, we need to keep ticking away and stack some results together."

Simon Weaver: "I don't want to be 20th, it is not just about survival for this football club. The aims and objectives are to get up the league and start being successful, and we are going to do it by being intense, being aggressive, by having an edge and being on the front foot.

"We want to play attacking, intense football that people want to see, that we want to see – and I think that there is enough athleticism and fitness now to finally be able to do just that."

Previous Meetings:

The clubs have only met on four previous occasions and it's Harrogate who have had the better of the stats with two wins to one.

Gills went 1-0 up at the Exercise Stadium earlier this year, however the hosts went on to score five times in the second-half to secure a 5-1 win.

Gills only victory came in the reverse fixture that season in September 2023 when Shaun Williams struck in stoppage time to give the hosts all three points.
