Gillingham v MK Dons
Sky Bet League Two
MEMS Priestfield Stadium
Saturday April 12, 2025
Kick-Off, 3pm
Team News:
Ethan Coleman (calf) and Bradley Dack could well make the matchday squad after returning to training. Josh Andrews is getting closer to a return but will sit out this fixture.
Andy Smith is a major doubt so Shad Ogie is likely to keep his place in defence.

As for visitors MK Dons, they have no fresh concerns ahead of the game. Liam Kelly is pushing for a starting role in the midfield.
Manager Comments:
Gareth Ainsworth - "After the long trips we have had, we have a home game now against MK Dons. It’s going to be great for a Saturday afternoon, my first Saturday afternoon as Gillingham’s manager at home!
“Really looking forward to it, hopefully we can put on a performance for the fans that they will appreciate like we did against Colchester.
"The boys have done really well dealing with the changes because we haven’t had time to do very much on the training field – we have done bits – I pride myself on the organisation and them feeling it on the grass.”

Ben Gladwin - "They have some really good players, and a really clear way of playing so it is going to be a tough, tough test, and it is always a really hard place to go.
"His [Gareth Ainsworth's] record generally speaks for itself in that he has been an incredible manager, and what he did at Wycombe was incredibly special.
"I am sure he will be starting to get his work in at Gillingham and getting his ideas and ways across, which will help them a lot.
"But we have our own journey to go on, and we need to try and get things right for Saturday and bounce back with a positive result."
Previous Meetings:
The clubs have met on 25 occasions and there is nothing to separate the teams with both sides winning ten games each. The most recent tie was the reverse fixture in December 2024 where a solitary goal from Robbie McKenzie was enough to give Gills all three points in a 1-0 win.
Odds:
Gills win - 21/20
Draw - 23/10
MK Dons win - 9/4
Special bet: Aaron Rowe to score first in a 2-1 Gills win = 60/1.
