Gillingham v Notts County
MEMS Priestfield Stadium
Sky Bet League Two
Saturday February 1, 2025
Kick-Off, 12.30pm
Team News:
Conor Masterson (hamstring) is unlikely to feature at the weekend, but could return for the trip to Barrow next Saturday. JJ Morgan (foot) should return to the squad, but it is less likely that Elliott Nevitt will make the game due to an ankle injury.
Aaron Rowe (illness) is available for selection. Ethan Coleman (calf) is a doubt.
As for Notts County, former Gills loanee Scott Robertson is injured and won’t make the trip. Jodi Jones is likely to start having recently returned from injury. Alassana Jatta and David McGoldrick provide the options in attack.
Robbie Cundy, an ex-Gills loanee, should be a part of the travelling party.
Manager Comments:
John Coleman – “Whoever we play at home, we must make it more difficult for them than what they do for us and whilst you do your homework and are mindful of the opposition, you really have to focus on your own performances, especially at home, and that is what we must do on Saturday.”
Stuart Maynard [on the league table] - "It's so tight. I think it'll be like this all the way to the wire. We've just got to keep performing the way we have.”
Odds:
Gills win – 9/4
Draw – 12/5
Notts County win – 21/20
Special Bet: Joe Gbode to score first in a 1-0 Gills win = 66/1.
