Harrogate Town v Gillingham
The Exercise Stadium
Sky Bet League Two
Saturday March 29, 2025
Kick-Off, 3pm
Team News:
Ethan Coleman continues to recover from a calf issue, he is unlikely to be available at the weekend as Gareth Ainsworth prepares to pick his first Gills XI since becoming the club's new manager.
Taite Holtam has been recalled from his loan spell with Ashford as cover for Glenn Morris. Jake Turner and Marcus Wyllie are on loan at Dagenham.
Jonny Williams is pushing for a starting place, as is Oli Hawkins.

As for Harrogate, manager Simon Weaver will be without George Thomson, Tom Hill and Levi Sutton but Toby Sims and Bryant Bilongo could return.
Manager Comments:
Simon Weaver - "It is an absolute grind, the season - especially when you are in that bottom third, so we have got to keep our heads up.
“We will keep trying to do the right things and five of the last eight games are at home, where we have won four and drawn two of the last six."
Gareth Ainsworth - “We would love a win at Harrogate to start with on Saturday. We will be going for the win and that’s the one thing I will say about my management style, we go for a win!
“I don’t know how to go for a draw. We will learn plenty in the game from the players – training will show you so much, the game will show you so much more; we have a target to win the game and we have worked on them, we have assessed their strengths and weaknesses."

Previous Meetings:
The two clubs have only ever met on five previous occasions, with Gills registering just the one victory which came at Priestfield in September of 2023. Shaun Williams was the difference maker on the day, scoring in second half stoppage time to help seal a 1-0 win.
Harrogate have three wins to their name, most notably last season's 5-1 triumph in Yorkshire.
The only draw took place in March 2023 at the Exercise Stadium, that game finishing 0-0.
