This weekend will see the return of Steve Bruce to MEMS Priestfield Stadium with the 63-year-old bringing his Blackpool side to Kent for an Emirates FA Cup first round fixture.
Bruce, who has been at the helm at Bloomfield Road since the start of September, began his playing career in Medway and featured for Gills between 1979 and 1984, winning the club's "Player of the Year" at the end of the 1979-80 season, and then again following the conclusion of the 1981-82 campaign.
He played 237 times for the club in all competitions, scoring 38 goals, before moving to Norwich City for a fee in the region of £130,000, which was set by a tribunal.
Following three years in Norfolk he made the move to Manchester United where he won three Premier League titles, three FA Cups, a European Super Cup and European Cup Winners' Cup.

Despite his success with United he never played for the England men's senior side, although he did feature for the youth teams. He went on to play for both Birmingham City and Sheffield United before retiring and moving into management.
He earned promotions with both Birmingham City and Hull City, guiding the latter to an FA Cup Final where they lost out to Arsenal in 2014. He went on to manage Aston Villa, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion.
His Blackpool side come into the weekend's game having not won since September 28, they drew 2-2 at home to Wigan on Monday.
