Aaron arrived at Priestfield in the summer of 2024 on loan from Huddersfield Town having enjoyed a successful loan spell at Crewe the year before, reaching the Sky Bet League 2 Play-Off Final.
Born in Hackney, Aaron began his career in the youth system at Leyton Orient but made his pro debut for Huddersfield in March 2019 during a Premier League fixtures at home to Bournemouth.
He made his first start a week later away to West Ham United in a 4-3 defeat.
During the 2019-20 season, which was curtailed early due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the winger had loan spells with both Bromley and Boston. The following season he made 20 appearances in the Championship and scored against Nottingham Forest in a 2-0 win at the City Ground.
He netted five times for the Railwaymen last season in a total of 47 appearances but was subsequently released by his parent club, allowing him to join the Gills following the expiration of his contract.
