Play-Off Winners - 2009

Gillingham Football Club was established in 1893, initially as New Brompton FC, with the name change occurring prior to the 1912/13 season.

The club joined the Football League in 1920 but, after being voted out, Gillingham reverted to the Southern League before being voted back in 1950.

The division four title was clinched in 1964, and another title would follow in 2013 under the management of Martin Allen.

Gillingham's highest ever league finish was 11th in the Championship, and were FA Cup Quarter-Finalists in 2000.
