The club has had a string of fine managers over the years, with Keith Peacock putting together one of the most entertaining Gills sides in recent times (1981-87). Freddie Cox and Martin Allen have guided the club to respective league Championships with Tony Pulis and Peter Taylor also experiencing a promotion while at Priestfield.
Other notable names include Archie Clark (longest serving manager), Damien Richardson, Glenn Roeder, Justin Edinburgh, Andy Hessenthaler, Steve Evans and Neil Harris.
