A reminder to supporters that MEMS Priestfield Stadium is a non-smoking arena
We would like to remind supporters that Gillingham Football Club operates a no-smoking policy within MEMS Priestfield Stadium which has been in effect for the past two seasons.
Consequently some supporters have adopted the practice of leaving the ground at half-time to have a cigarette outside.
This has led to security issues on several occasions with entrances and exits being left open.
We are therefore bringing the club into line with virtually all other league clubs and would like to advise supporters that we will no longer be allowing re-entry to the ground for supporters leaving for a cigarette or indeed for any other reason.
