1904 - William George Berry
The outside-left arrived at Priestfield from Charlton Athletic in May 1923 but didn't make his debut until the trip to Bournemouth in February 1924.
He went on to make 87 appearances in total scoring a dozen goals before joining Brentford in May 1926
DEATHS...
1962 - Peter Chiswick
The East Londoner moved to Gillingham from West Ham United in July 1956 having made 19 league appearances for the Hammers.
He made his debut against Watford on the opening day and played another 13 times in his one season at the club.
After a spell at Margate he became manager-coach t Barking.
Peter died in West Ham on August 18 aged just 32 following a throat infection.
