GILLS AWAY TO PRESTON

The Gills face League One opposition again in Round Two

Gillingham have been drawn away to play old foes Preston North End in this afternoon’s Second Round draw at Wembley Stadium.

We were the second of the 40 balls to be drawn.

The Gills progressed thanks to the excellent 4-0 thumping of League One Scunthorpe United here at MEMS Priestfield Stadium yesterday where Matt Fish, Deon Burton, Danny Kedwell and Adam Birchall were all on target.

Meanwhile Graham Westley’s team, who currently lie ninth in the  League One table were beating Yeovil Town 3-0 at home.

It is expected that the game at Deepdale will take place on Saturday December 1.
