The Gills boss says well done to the supporters at Plainmoor
“We went 1-0 and another would have killed it. We have attacked in every game we have played and we have to say a big well done to all our fans and we thank them so much for travelling.”
“When you are in that technical area, you are seeing them and watching them, and you really want the lads to get that other goal to win it. When it went 1-1 I thought it was going to be us. We didn’t manage to get it.
“I couldn’t believe how many were behind that goal. They sung their hearts out and it was a long journey home for them.
The manager was keen to praise the 205 supporters that made the long journey on Tuesday, speaking after the game he said “I really want to make a point of those people who came all the way from Kent to Torquay.
