London Broncos secure first home win after Martin Allen team talk
Not content with leading the Gills to League Two success, Martin Allen also had a hand in inspiring the London Broncos to their first Super League win of the season at the Stoop on Saturday.When the Super League side came to Priestfield to train with the Gills last Tuesday, Martin gave a motivational team talk to both sides that clearly had the desired effect.
The Broncos overcome St Helens 21-14 in a hard fought contest, courtesy of a late penalty and drop goal from Australian half-back Michael Witt, to record their first win in six matches.
