Gills defender Connor Essam moves to Broadfield Stadium
Gills centre-half Connor Essam has joined League One side Crawley Town on a free transfer.The 20 year old defender made 18 appearances for the club in 2011/12, after graduating through the Gillingham's Centre of Excellence, but has struggled to break into the first team this season.
He moves to Broadfield Stadium on a two and a half year contract with the Gills negotiating a percentage sell-on clause of any future transfer.
