Vacancy for a groundsman at Gillingham FC available
Gillingham Football Club is looking for a qualified and experienced Groundsman to join our team for the 2013/14 campaign.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining Football League standard playing surfaces for training and matches.
We are looking for a person with a passion for football and pitch care. The ideal candidate will be keen to working a challenging and rewarding working environment.
You will need to be flexible and willing to work unsociable hours, understanding that this role will include working weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays.
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following skills and qualifications:
·NVQ Level 2 Sports Turf Maintenance or equivalent
·Previous experience in the sports turf industry
·Sound knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety legislation
·PA1, PA2 & PA6 Safe use of Pesticides
·Clean and valid driving licence
