Girls Centre of Excellence awards evening held at Priestfield Stadium
With the season at an end the squads from our Girls Centre of Excellence had the opportunity to attend MEMS Priestfield Stadium for their end of season celebrations and presentations.
The evening gave the girls the chance to play small sided games on the first team pitch, take penalties against the coaches and enjoy some fun skills and drills before all being presented with their medals.
Our Player’s Player award was also presented on the night, all girls had voted for whom they thought had made a significant contribution to the squad throughout the season and deserved to recognised for their efforts. The winners were:
U17 – Cat Cooper
U15 – Katie Startup
U13 – Poppy Payne
U11 – Milly Penfold
U9 – Ella Houghton
The evening proved to be a great success with family members able to watch the girls play on the pitch and celebrate with their medals while getting loads of photos for the scrap book.
