The Girls Centre of Excellence squads meet the Priestfield faithful
Before kick-off in Saturday's 1-0 home win over Carlisle United at MEMS Priestfield Stadium we welcomed the Gillingham FC, Girls Centre of Excellence squads and coaches pitch-side.The Centre has four squads, U-11s, U-13s, U-15s and U-17s who train twice a week and play a full games programme against other FA Centres of Excellence including Arsenal, Chelsea and Norwich.
We also have an U-9s Development Squad who train once a week and take part in small-sided festivals during the season.
The girls were presented to the Priestfield crowd who gave them a massive round of applause as they made their way on to the pitch and along the touchline, stopping for some photos on the way.
