Joined by his guests, Brian chose captain Adam Barrett as the Man of the Match, commenting that Adam’s leadership skills shone during the 90mins against Oldham and, when the Gills faced the barrage of Oldham attacks, he dug deep and rallied the troops who were unlucky to lose 0-1.
When asked by interviewer Jeff Clarke about Kedwell’s involvement in the incident that led to Latics defender Genseric Kusunga’s red card, Barrett joked that ‘out of anyone on the field, Keds would probably be the last person he would want to get in to scuffle with!’
