We look back at some of our most recent games against Shrewsbury
The Gills travel to Shrewsbury Town this weekend hoping to record their third successive victory at Greenhous Meadow, and below we have highlighted some of our best moments from previous games.September 11 2010 – Gillingham 2-0 Shrewsbury
With both sides at the time looking to gain promotion to Sky Bet League One, victory at this stage of the season against a potential rival would go some way to defining your season.
On the day it was the Gills who proved victorious with Chris Palmer bagging a brace – one of which from open play with a cool finish, and the other via the penalty spot.
Bayo Akinfenwa had already stepped up and missed, handing the responsibility to Palmer next time around who made no mistake when he got his chance to give Andy Hessenthaler’s team all three points.
