ANTONIO GERMAN EXTENDS LOAN

Young Gills forward to remain on loan at Northampton Town

Gillingham FC has today agreed a deal for Antonio German to extend his loan spell at League Two side Northampton Town for a further month.

The 22 year-old striker has played three times for the Cobblers since moving in early January, debuting in Northampton’s 2-1 away win over Newport County on January 4.

His loan renewal will be one of the first deals concluded by new Northampton manager Chris Wilder, who left Oxford United to move to Sixfields Stadium on Monday.

Antonio’s new deal will see him remain with the Cobblers up to and including their home fixture against Bristol Rovers on Saturday 1 March.
