Cody's overhead kick against Walsall the clear winner in Gills Goal of the Year poll
Over the past couple of weeks we have been asking for your view on what should be put forward as our `Goal of the Year` for 2013.Thanks to everybody who voted, there were seven goals to choose from which can all be seen again by clicking here.
The winner, by a majority vote was GOAL G, scored by Cody McDonald against Walsall on December 29 at MEMS Priestfield Stadium following a spectacular over head kick from the edge of the area.

Cody's goal will now be entered in the Mitre Goal of the Year category at the Football League Awards 2014.
A judging panel will then review the goals with the top 10 being shown on Sky Sports’ Soccer AM on 9th February.
Fans will be given the opportunity to vote for goals to make the final shortlist of five, with the overall winner being decided at the glittering Awards ceremony at The Brewery, London, on Sunday 16th March.
