Job Title: Take Heart Mercy Mission Fund Raising ManagerSalary: Circa £20,000 plus bonus structure
Hours: Full-Time Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm plus all GFC home fixtures
Take Heart Mercy Mission Fund Raising Manager – Gillingham Football Club
Take Heart Mercy Mission save the lives of babies and youngsters in Sri Lanka - performing intricate and complicated operations on children who would otherwise die from various heart conditions. By funding visits for a dedicated group of surgeons, doctors and nurses from the Evelina London Children's Hospital.
Take Heart Mercy Mission is solely funded by donations and sponsorships, and is the chosen charity partner of Gillingham Football Club whose Chairman Paul Scally is a Trustee of the Take Heart Mercy Mission.
The role of Take Heart Mercy Mission Fund Raising Manager is to raise awareness of the charity's work, aims and goals with supporters, schools, business and institutions and to develop successful fundraising activities.
We are looking for an extremely capable and experienced professional for this role the main responsibilities of which are:
• Achieve budgeted fundraising figures.
• Raise awareness of the charity and its work across Kent
• Develop and manage fundraising activities.
• Ensure that the Take Heart Mercy Mission lives as Gillingham Football Clubs chosen charity partner.
• Develop relationships with early years providers, primary and secondary schools, further and higher educational institutions, businesses and local authorities.
• Create and successfully deliver events to meet the aims of increasing awareness and fund raising.
• Recruit, organise and manage volunteers to carry out various activities, initiatives and work functions for the charity.
