GILLS SIGN WOLVES DEFENDER ON LOAN

Gillingham FC add to their defensive options with the signing of Kortney Hause from Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers

Gillingham FC have captured the signing of Wolves defender Kortney Hause on a youth loan deal until January 4.

The 19-year-old left sided central defender, who can also play at left back, trained with the squad for the first time on Monday afternoon and could be in one of the squads that play Faversham or Dover on Tuesday evening.

Hause began his professional career at Wycombe Wanderers and made his debut for the Chairboys in a 4-1 FA Cup defeat to Crewe in November 2012.

He went on to make another 30 appearances for the club and scored two goals before Kenny Jackett snapped Kortney up in January of this year for an undisclosed fee.

He signed a two-and-a-half year deal at Molineux but has yet to make a competitive appearance for the first team.

Manager Peter Taylor said: "I have been speaking to Wolves quite a bit about Kortney and I spoke to Kenny Jackett about him last season.

"I am really pleased to have him in the building."
