After rescuing a late point against Walsall in the last game of 2013 Gills were looking to begin the New Year in the best possible way.With four games in January, two of which on TV, we take a look at how Peter Taylor's side began the new calendar year.
JANUARY
Cody McDonald struck in stoppage time to defeat Wolves 1-0 at Priestfield live on Sky before a disappointing 3-0 loss at Colchester.
A win over Swindon followed as Michael Harriman scored his ever league goal, prior to a 2-1 defeat at Brentford, again on Sky Sports.

FEBRUARY
Gills opened the month with a 3-2 victory over Port Vale, but lost three days later to Stevenage following Elliott Hewitt's sending off.
However the side bounced back to beat Carlisle - Joe Pigott scoring on his full debut at Brunton Park after signing on loan from Charlton.
However Taylor’s men then suffered successive defeats against Sheffield United and Oldham, both finishing 1-0.
