GFC Community Trust has an opening for a full time Girls and Women's Football Officer to join the team
Gillingham Football Club's Community Trust is currently looking to recruit a full-time Girls’ and Women’s Football Officer.
The successful candidate needs to be hardworking, flexible, outgoing and self-driven with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality performance. Applicants should also be reliable, determined, and keen for the opportunity of a new experience.
The successful applicant will oversee all administration involved in running the Girls Centre of Excellence and the management of staff. To deliver coaching for the GFC Community Trust and to develop opportunities for girls and women to participate in Football and Sport in the local communities.
Pay would be subject to qualifications and experience.
Key skills and experience required:
Competent IT skills - familiar with Excel spread sheets, Word and Publisher. •
Ability to organise, prioritise and meet deadlines. •
First Aid Certificate – to be kept up to date. •
Knowledge and understanding of child protection issues including holding a current FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate. •
An accepted Enhanced FA CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) Disclosure. •
A minimum of Level 2 Coaching in Football Certificate. •
Experience in girls’ football. •
An understanding of current Centre of Excellence structures. •
Have knowledge and understanding of child development and be sensitive to children’s needs. •
This position will require evening and weekend work. •
FA Equality Workshop Certificate. •
Own transport and Full UK Driving License essential. •
