GILLS SIGN BRENNAN DICKENSON

Gillingham FC have signed former Brighton forward Brennan Dickenson on a two year contract

Peter Taylor has secured his sixth signing of the summer with the capture of former Brighton forward Brennan Dickenson.

The 21-year-old, who can play as a winger or a striker, has put pen to paper on a two year contract at MEMS Priestfield Stadium.

Brennan began his career in non-league with Dorchester Town in 2011 and scored five goals in 22 appearances before joining Brighton a year later.

After struggling to force his way into first team contention he went out on loan in November 2012 to Chesterfield where he scored one goal in 11 games, that coming on his debut for the club against Bristol Rovers.

On the completion of his deal he returned to the Amex Stadium, but in search of first team football joined AFC Wimbledon in February 2013 where he netted twice in seven outings.

In February of this year he opted to join Northampton on loan and scored once in 13 appearances.

You can see an exclusive video interview with Brennan on Gills Player shortly.
