Gillingham Football Club's Community Trust is currently looking to recruit a part-time Football Coach in the Canterbury area.

The successful candidate needs to be hardworking, flexible, outgoing and self driven with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality performance.

Applicants should also be reliable, determined, and keen for the opportunity of a new experience. The positions would involve coaching players within the 6th Form Academy at the Canterbury High School.

Hours will be flexible throughout the day during school term time and school holidays. There will be an average of 10 hours coaching per week plus games.

Pay would be subject to qualifications and experience.

Key skills and experience required;

•    FA Level 3 (UEFA B) Certificate in Coaching Football or working towards the qualification
•    FA First Aid Qualification
•    Knowledge and understanding of child protection issues including holding a current FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate
•    Enhanced FA CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) Disclosure
•    Own transport essential
•    Ideally be able and licensed to drive a mini-bus when required.
•    Flexible
