Two Gillingham players have agreed to cancel their contracts with the club
Gillingham FC has today agreed to cancel the contracts of our development squad players Ashley Miller and Jack Parter.Dover born winger/striker Ashley is a graduate of the Gills Centre of Excellence and made his senior debut against Wycombe Wanderers in November 2010 at the age of 16. He scored his first League goal in our 4-3 loss to Crewe Alexandra in March 2012, his only goal in six first team outings.
More recently Ashley has spent time on loan at local non-league sides Ramsgate, Hythe Town, Tonbridge Angels and Maidstone United, and is now expected to take up the opportunity of playing in the United States.
A regular for the Gills Development squad for several seasons and fellow graduate of the club’s Academy system, full-back Jack appeared in a number of first team pre-season friendlies and has enjoyed loan spells with Ramsgate and Whitstable Town.
We would like to thank both lads and wish them every success in their future careers.
