JAKE HESSENTHALER BAGS TWO AWARDS AT PLAYER OF THE YEAR EVENT

Jake Hessenthaler wins two awards at Player of the Year Event at Priestfield

Jake Hessenthaler was one of the big winners at our `Player of the Year` event on Saturday evening after picking up two awards.

The 19-year-old's effort against Coventry won him `Goal of the Season,`, before being voted `Young Player of the Year`, narrowly beating Bradley Dack for the honour.

The central midfielder has had a tremendous season after making his debut against Rotherham last November.

A string of fine performances regularly saw him in contention for a first team place, and his goal against Coventry came just a month after signing a new four-and-a-half year contract.

An exclusive interview with Jake will appear on the website shortly.
