Ladies FA WPL Campaign start delayed
It is with great disappointment the club has to announce Sunday’s opening day fixture against Ipswich Ladies FC has been postponed.
Ipswich Ladies are unable to field a team and details for the re-arranged match will be made public when the club receives them.
Joint-Manager Jack Wheeler said;
“The whole club is really disappointed to receive this late cancellation. We had really been looking forward to starting the season after working hard throughout pre-season. However, we will now re-group and make alternative plans for Sunday. The girls will be even more ready and raring to go when we welcome Bedford on Sunday 23rd August.”
“We’re all aware how disappointing this news will be to our fans. However, looking on the positive side it gives them more time to purchase season tickets from our Ticket Office and we will all be that little more excited and even more hungry for our FA WPL season to start!”
