Gills capture the signature of Emanuel Osadebe on a one year deal from the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation college programme
Gillingham have added to their squad with the signing of Emanuel Osadebe on a one year contract.The 18-year-old central midfielder has joined the club from Tottenham Hotspur’s foundation college programme and played four games for the Gills Development side towards the end of the 2014/15 campaign.
The Gills boss was at Barnet & Southgate College on Thursday along with recently retired Goalkeeper Brad Friedel to announce the deal, and Justin was pleased to have got the player on board.
He said: “With my connections at Tottenham I was made aware of Emanuel’s progress and we were able to get him to train with us and see how he performed during a few development games.
“He impressed us during those fixtures and we are delighted to have signed him on a one year deal and he will have opportunities within our development squad, certainly pushing for a place in the first team.”
