Initial two-year agreement in place to coincide with EFL season start
Gillingham Football Club have today signed a new two-year agreement with BBC Radio Kent designed to bring our fans greater coverage of all the action this season.The new deal will see every Gills fixture, initially for the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons, broadcast live across the county on BBC Radio Kent.
Supporters will also benefit from exclusive interviews with the club's players and management staff, as well as the station's behind-the-scenes access.
“We're delighted to be working in partnership with Gillingham Football Club to bring fans exclusive radio commentary of all the Gills games home and away," said BBC Radio Kent's Managing Editor Gordon Davidson.
"Having come so close to the play-offs last season, we're looking forward to following them on another push for promotion to the Championship.”
As part of this new agreement between the two parties, the GillsPlayer subscription service will also relay the BBC's matchday coverage from Ronan Sully, Peter Lloyd and Matt Cole. For information on how to subscribe, click here.
