TEAM NEWS
Gills manager Edinburgh confirmed that Paul Konchesky and Frank Nouble should return to the matchday squad on Saturday, after both missed the midweek FA Cup tie at Brackley Town.

Speaking ahead of the trip to the Midlands, Edinburgh gave an update on the Gills injury front.

“Chris Herd rolled his ankle against Brackley and Brad Garmston felt his hamstring,” said Edinburgh.

“We didn’t want to risk Frank [Nouble on Wednesday night], as he had a tight hamstring in the first game against Brackley , then didn’t train for a few days and played last Saturday against Northampton. With games coming around as quickly as they are, we felt it was a risk that we didn’t need to take.”

Jonathan Bond, Aaron Morris and Lee Martin remain the only long-term absentees and will not make the game.

THE OPPOSITION
The Saddlers will be without winger Kieron Morris, who misses out with an ankle knock, but ex-Gill Simeon Jackson is expected to be in Jon Whitney’s matchday squad.

Whitney is aware of the threat the Gills pose going forward, but insists his team will be focusing on their own game.

"I’m sure Justin will want a quick turnaround,” said the Saddlers boss. "They will be working off the energy from [last Saturday’s win over] Northampton, when they scored a late winner. That is what they will be tapping into. We have to respect them for what they can still bring.”

LAST TIME WE MET
The Saddlers visited the MEMS Priestfield Stadium only last month, and left with a share of the spoils. Cody McDonald opened the scoring in the first half, but Franck Moussa’s late leveller ensured both teams went home with a point.

The teams have met 111 times in total, with the Gills winning 45, drawing 23 and losing 43.
