COMMUNITY TRUST SCHOOL VACANCIES

Tutor and learning mentor roles now available

Gillingham FC Community Trust are seeking applications for a learning mentor and unqualified tutor for their independent school, which is based at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium.

We are looking for dedicated, positive professional people to join our team for as soon as possible.

Although we are a school, the working pattern is slightly different to other educational provisions, due to the nature of our students and the programme offered.

Learning mentors will compliment those existing teachers and pastoral staff with the school, and help address the needs of children who need help to overcome barriers to learning both inside and out of the school.

The successful tutor applicant will have a proven track record of raising standards, identifying and addressing barriers to learning and be hard working with a commitment to CPD and changes to legislation. Experience of working within an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
