Loan deal agreed for Gills defender.
Finn O’Mara has joined Folkestone Invicta on a one-month loan deal.
The 18-year-old centre-back signed his first pro deal at MEMS Priestfield Stadium earlier this year and featured heavily for Ady Pennock during pre-season.
He has now been given the opportunity to get some regular first team football, with O’Mara eligible to make his debut for the club at home tomorrow against Needham Market.
Ady Pennock said: “I thought it would be a good opportunity for Finn to go out and get some consistent game time under his belt, he was impressive during pre-season and hopefully the experience will be of benefit to him.”
Bradley Stevenson has also gone out on loan; he is with Cray Wanderers until mid-September.
